Laredo Public Health Onboarding Training
Tool Used: Articulate Storyline
Audience: 100 Health Department Employees
Problem: The Laredo Health Department was seeking program accreditation while restructuring their onboarding process
Intervention Applied/Recommended: The results of a thorough analysis recommended the organization invest in improving access to employee mentorship program initiatives and invest in the development and gradual implementation of digital transformation initiatives to streamline and optimize the organization's onboarding process. The model for analysis employed to determine the best intervention was McKiney 7S.
Process: I wrote detailed notes on Confluence as I conducted my SMART SAAVY meeting, then developed a course storyboard. All iterations were designed on Storyline.
Evaluation: Knowledge Checks, Surveys, Post-Quiz, and Discussions.
Key Takeaways: The organization improved Implementation of internal Global Development Initiatives. Additionally, organization reduced errors by 50%, and increased employee involvement in the Quality Assurance Initiative.
